For safety reasons, we strongly recommend having your multipoint water heater serviced every 12 months to make sure that it is working properly. We also recommend a servicing if the pilot light on your multipoint water heater keeps going out.
Our multipoint water heater checklist includes:
- Fully dismantling the boiler.
- Cleaning the burner.
- Cleaning the pilot lights and checking the thermocouples.
- A heat exchanger check.
- A flue and boiler ventilation check.
- A gas rate assessment and a flue gas analysis.
